Former super model Christie Brinkley graces the cover of the February 2011 issue of Prevention magazine. In the issue she talks about her love live since her high-profile divorce from the cheating scoundrel Peter Cook.
She says in Prevention that the 56-year-old says she’s in no hurry to find love again. She is divorced from pop-star Billy Joel and has been divorced from Peter Cook for two years.
Most of the time, I’ve got my kids with me, so I’m not as prone to meeting people,” Brinkley tells February’s Prevention, out Tuesday. “And then, you never really know if someone is talking to you because you’re a celebrity. It’s not my number one priority.
Brinkley says she’s always been about being a mother and her children are her top priority. Her children are Alexa Ray, 25, Jack, 15, and Sailor 12.
I always knew I wanted to be a mother … it takes a lot of work,” Brinkley says. “My work makes me a better mom. It gives me a little door to step out of my parenting and bring the excitement from that day back home.
